Ducted Air Conditioning Systems

A ducted system consists of an indoor unit most commonly located within the ceiling space or under the floor which distributes heating or cooling via grilles and diffusers to various rooms in the building. Connected to the indoor unit by refrigerant pipes and electrical cables is a single outdoor condensing unit.
Operation is via a wall mounted control which offers a host of features depending on model. Zones can also be integrated into the installation for extra comfort control providing conditioned air to only the areas in use thus reducing energy costs. Compared to the Split systems it also has the least impact on space within the rooms of a building and the most appealing aesthetically.
Ducted systems are ideal for conditioning a number of rooms with only a single compact outdoor unit. Each room has individual controls providing heating and cooling.
